Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and commitment to bettering South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services for the duration of an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils inside the training sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
